Jonathan earned his PhD from Wharton and served as Chief Healthcare Economist in the Executive Office of the President, advising on healthcare economic policy across the entire executive branch of the US government, including the HHS agencies FDA, CMS, NIH, and ARPA-H. He has also served as principal economist on Amazon’s employee benefits team. His advisory work is built on three decades of peer-reviewed econometrics research.
